This is the TR-250 in '68. Note the black helmet with white trim & reversed 44s, which was part of the team livery that year. '68 was the only year we ran a TR-250, (really a TR-5 because it ran fuel injection). The TR-250 was my favorite Group 44 Triumph. The same car was a TR-6 in 1969, but I liked the TR-4 body better

This must have been an unusual open practice as the TR-250 is following Jerry Truitt's G-Prod MG Midget. Jerry ended up driving an MGB for Group 44 in 1970 and 1971 if my memory is correct

This is the 1981 Jaguar XJS TA, with the rear body work off you can see the tube frame construction. This was the first and only tube framed chassis made by Group 44 and was known as XJR-4

This is actually the 1981 TA Jaguar XJS, you can tell by the Jaguar written on the windscreen the earlier 1976 & 1977 XJS had British Leyland written on it

Mike Downs was long gone by then. This was John Kelly's ride, so I'm guessing it is him. After my time tho

After my time, but I didn't think John drove the TR-6. I'm guessing John McComb, but could be wrong

    Gotta love it.

AP 427 Cobra locks 'em up trying desperately not to be embarrassed by DP Group 44 TR-6. Happened a lot!

TR-6 with Weber carbs rather than the earlier fuel injection. Don't know if reclassification from CP to DP coincided with the change, but I suspect so

    Bill Warner's car

3rd of 3 Group 44 built TR-6s. 2 time National Champion. Once for Group 44, John McComb driving in DP. Sold to Paul Newman who won his 1st Championship in the car. Also in DP

Don't know when the stripes went from black to green & the wheels got painted. After 1970, I think. After 1969 for sure. Green windscreens date back to 1967 at least, probably earlier

Note the high roll bar compared to the earlier cars

Safer, but doesn't look nearly as good as the earlier, low roll bars IMHO
